Kia has officially unveiled the updated XCeed, marking the model’s second mid-cycle refresh. While the extensive design overhaul gives the crossover a distinct, futuristic aesthetic reminiscent of the brand’s dedicated electric vehicles like the EV3, the new XCeed will continue to rely on traditional internal combustion power. Production is scheduled to commence at the company’s Slovakian facility by the end of May, with a European market launch expected in June.

The exterior transformation is comprehensive, shifting the XCeed toward Kia’s latest design language. The front fascia now features a prominent hexagonal grille flanked by two upper air intakes, complemented by striking vertical headlight clusters that enhance its sporty stance. In profile, the vehicle showcases new aerodynamic-focused wheel designs, while the rear is defined by a modern, full-width taillight assembly.

Inside, the cabin has been modernized with a dual 12.3-inch display setup and a redesigned two-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Subtle refinements have also been applied to the air conditioning vents and physical control layout to improve ergonomics.

Under the hood, the updated XCeed is expected to streamline its powertrain offerings, focusing exclusively on gasoline and mild-hybrid configurations while dropping the previous plug-in hybrid variant. Additionally, Kia has tuned the chassis to further enhance ride comfort. We will continue to monitor for further details as the launch approaches.
