Jetour Zongheng F700 Revealed: A Hardcore PHEV Pickup Aiming for the Top

Taking on the GWM Cannon? Jetour has officially released the first images of the Zongheng F700, a new hardcore off-road pickup truck. The vehicle is expected to make its official market debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November.

The Zongheng F700 features a highly angular, boxy design language. Its front fascia is defined by rectangular LED daytime running lights and a matching grille, which prominently displays the “LSER” lettering at its center. To enhance its off-road capability, the truck is equipped with a rugged front bumper designed to provide a generous approach angle.

At the rear, the truck maintains its robust aesthetic with large, polygonal taillights positioned on either side. In terms of dimensions, the F700 measures 5,495mm in length, 2,050mm in width, and 1,985mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,350mm. Depending on the configuration, the rated payload capacity is listed at 221kg, 181kg, or 223kg.

Inside, the cabin carries over the design philosophy seen in the Zongheng G700. The interior emphasizes a squared-off, utilitarian aesthetic, while modern technology is integrated through a 15.6-inch floating center touchscreen and a 35.4-inch panoramic “sky screen” display. Based on previous filing information, the vehicle will be available in both 4-seat and 5-seat configurations.

Under the hood, the F700 is expected to utilize the Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM plug-in hybrid system, featuring a 2.0TD engine specifically tuned for hybrid duty. This engine produces a maximum power of 155 kW and 340 Nm of torque, boasting a thermal efficiency of 45.5%. According to industry reports, the F700 may also feature 4C dual-layer Shenxing battery technology and an 800V high-voltage platform, allowing for a 20%-80% charge in just 10 minutes and a total combined range of up to 1,300 km. We will continue to follow this story as more details emerge.
