The Xiaomi Skynomad N90 made its official debut at the 2026 Chengdu Motor Show. Positioned as a flagship extended-range (EREV) large seven-seater SUV, the vehicle is currently available for pre-order with a price tag of 299,900 yuan (approximately $42,000 USD). Its core selling point is a highly flexible rear cabin architecture.
The Skynomad N90 features a fresh design language, retaining the brand’s signature cross-shaped headlights paired with “dragonfly wing” daytime running lights. The lighting system offers a 605-meter high-beam range and a 180-degree wide-angle low-beam coverage. The front grille integrates seamlessly with the light clusters, featuring an embedded “SkyNomad” badge and customizable trim panels available in four finishes: brushed silver, brushed dark gray, brushed gold, and hollowed-out black.
Measuring 5,285 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,825 mm in height with a 3,080 mm wheelbase, the N90 is a substantial SUV. Its side profile utilizes a short front overhang and a long rear overhang to maximize interior space. The rear doors open nearly 90 degrees, and the vehicle is equipped with semi-hidden mechanical door handles.
Inside, the cockpit is dominated by an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 20-inch head-up display, and a 16.1-inch central touchscreen, all powered by the HyperOS system and a Qualcomm 8650 chip. The cabin design prioritizes modularity, featuring a sliding independent center island that includes a 9L compressor refrigerator, wireless charging, and multiple storage compartments. The 2+2+3 seating layout allows the front seats to rotate 180 degrees to face the second row, creating a lounge-like environment with up to 1.76 meters of legroom.
The N90 is powered by a 1.5T range extender paired with dual electric motors (210kW front/100kW rear). A 76kWh battery pack provides a CLTC pure electric range of 464 km, while the total combined range reaches 1,705 km. The vehicle supports fast charging, adding 285 km of range in 15 minutes.
Safety and intelligence are central to the N90, which features a 700 TOPS NVIDIA Thor chip, LiDAR, and the Xiaomi HAD XLA cognitive model for advanced driver assistance. The body structure incorporates 2,200 MPa ultra-high-strength steel in 16 critical areas.
**Editor’s Note:**
Built on the Kunlun architecture, the Xiaomi Skynomad N90 departs from conventional EREV SUV configurations. By utilizing a flat floor, extensive seat rail systems, and a highly variable cabin structure, it redefines interior space utility for diverse travel needs. The vehicle transcends the traditional role of a commuter car, positioning itself as a flexible, multi-scenario mobility solution that excels in daily commuting, group travel, and outdoor activities, offering a clear and distinct market differentiation.
