Recently, we learned from SAIC Roewe brand that all new pure electric Roewe Ei6 will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, which will open in April 2020. This car is Roewe’s first mass-produced car featured with all new design concept (Chinese calls “Jizhi” – 集智), It features avant-garde design, such as the front face symbol and vector matrix headlights. The Roewe official has not announced the specific range of its NEDC, but said that the vehicle’s pure electric range will reach 600km (372miles) in the future.
In terms of appearance, all-new Roewe Ei6 adopts SAIC’s new intelligent electric design concept “Jizhi” design. In terms of details, the front face adopts a closed grille design, which cooperates with the raised ribs of the engine compartment cover, all showing the sporty atmosphere of the car. At the same time, the headlights on both sides of the car are connected by a metal trim, which widens the car’s lateral perspective to a certain extent. It is worth mentioning that the center of the grille is equipped with “ROEWE” English letter badge, thus replacing the Roewe red and black color matching LOGO.
According to the official, Roewe Ei6 will be equipped with vector matrix headlight group, with two major features of minimalist module and semi-split type, using LED technology, composed of two multiplexing modules, the visual effect is extremely simple. At the same time, Roewe Ei6 also features a parameterized active air intake system, which can effectively reduce wind resistance while also guiding and cooling the battery pack under the chassis.
