MG MULAN is built on the SAIC Nebula electric drive platform, equipped with a rear-drive-based super electric drive system, plus LBS recumbent cells & CTP cube battery pack. Depending on the car model, its pure electric cruising range is 425-520km, and the four-wheel drive version equipped with front and rear dual motors and 0-100km/h acceleration will be in 3.8s.

In terms of appearance, MG MULAN adopts a new appearance design language. The cabin cover presents a push-down design to highlight the sporty feeling. With triangular LED headlights, three-stage air intakes and a black aerodynamic front lip, the front face looks full of combat. .

The official definition of this car is a “pure electric super crossover vehicle”, and its side profile is different from the mainstream sedans or SUVs on the market. The black lower surround design and the suspended roof complement each other, with black exterior mirrors, bar-type taillights, bilateral rear wings and rear diffuser

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4287/1836/1516mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2705mm.

As a pure electric vehicle, MG MULAN adopts the popular smart cockpit design scheme, and the central control layout is fashionable and simple based on a 7-inch rectangular LCD instrument panel and a 10.25-inch floating touch screen.

MG MULAN is derived from SAIC’s Nebula electric drive platform. It provides two types of power options: single-motor rear drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. The maximum power is 150kW, 330kW, and the maximum torque is 250Nm and 600Nm. Among them, the dual-motor four-wheel drive version is also equipped with the XDS curve dynamic control system, and the vehicle 0-100km/h acceleration time only takes 3.8s.

For the battery part, the new car is equipped with SAIC’s “Magic Cube” battery that applies LBS recumbent cells and CTP battery body-integrated technology. According to different application scenarios, its thickness can be 110mm, 125mm, 137mm three models, the battery power range is 44-150kWh, can Covering the whole series of pure electric vehicle products.

For the version used on MG MULAN, the battery pack has two capacities of 51kWh and 64kWh, and the CLTC pure electric cruising range is 425km, 520km and 460km. In addition, the new car supports a high-power DC fast charging system, and the 5-minute charging power can meet the ultra-long battery life of 200km.
