The JAC Ruifeng (Refine) S7 PRO was officially unveiled at the 2019 Guangzhou Auto Show. The new car was positioned as a compact SUV and features a new design language. In terms of appearance, the front face is very similar to the JAC Jiayue A5. It features a large-scale straight waterfall grille shape, the chrome trim on the outside of the grille is connected to the lamp sets on both sides, which is extremely aggressive. The interior is equipped with a large-size floating central control screen, which is highly technical with the LCD instrument. In terms of power, the new car will be powered by 1.5T and 2.0T turbocharged engines. In addition, the new car is expected to be launched early next year.
In terms of appearance, JAC Refine S7 Pro features the similar style of JAC Jiayue A5, the hexagonal flat front grille is matched with the new “straight waterfall” shark face front grille. At the same time, the chrome trim on the outside of the grille is connected with the headlights. The design makes the new car look even more aggressive. Functional aspects such as panoramic imagery, adaptive cruising, lane keeping, and active braking are also available, quite comprehensive.
The side of the body is streamlined, the slightly raised body waistline runs directly from the front wheel eyebrows to the taillights, the silver luggage rack provides versatility while adding layering to the car’s lines. In the tail, JAC Refine S7 Pro uses a bar-style taillight set to enhance the layering of the tail. In addition, it features total of four exhaust ventilation layouts, the exhaust pipe is square chrome-plated, the visual effect is very aggressive.
In terms of interiors, JAC Refine S7 Pro has changed more obviously than the current model. The central control screen has been changed to a floating design with LCD instruments, which is more technological. The style of the air-conditioning vent is also changed from the current round shape to the long strip shape, and the electronic gear is replaced by a more luxurious temperament. In addition, the lower part of the center console also features a hollow design, which makes the space more practical and further enriches the storage space of the whole car.
In terms of power, JAC official did not disclose the power configuration of the new car. Combined with the information of JAC S7 currently on sale, it will be powered by a 1.5T turbocharged engine with maximum power of 128kW. On the transmission system, the new car or be matched with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
