I am always confused by the name of JAC’s EVs, fox example, the JAC iEV6E has three versions right now, the iEV6E Upgrade version, Youth version, as well as the Sports version. The iEV6E Youth version just launched by JAC Motors is based on iEV6E Upgrade version, iEV6E is a mini EV with body size of 3,660/1,670/1,500 mm,wheelbase of 2,390 mm, it mainly adjusted for the appearance and power system, as well as the two-tone body design, bumper, luggage rack and other personalized configuration. Price of JAC iEV6E Youth version starts at 65,500-75,500 yuan (~US$9,155 – US$10,553) after subsidy.

Both fast charge and slow charge interfaces are integrated under the front badge. In the case of fast charging, it takes 40mins to charge from 30% to 80%.

In terms of appearance, the front face of JAC iEV6E Youth version continues its family-style design, the front grille still adopts a closed design, the oval headlights are cute, The air intake of the bumper are designed in loop-shaped design, decorating with orange. The side waistline uses two-tone design, two-color luggage rack and other trendy design, more in line with the taste of young people.

In terms of interior, JAC iEV6E Youth version is basically the same as the current model. In terms of power and range, JAC iEV6E Youth version is powered by JAC’s new 6-in-1 electric drive system. There are two permanent magnet synchronous motors with maximum power of 45kW(60hp) and 55kW(74hp), and peak torque of 150N·m and 165N. m. The battery system uses a lithium iron phosphate battery with an energy density of 140.62 Wh/kg and a NEDC cruising range of 192miles(310 km). The power consumption per 100 km is 12.00 kWh/100 km.
