Geely Galaxy Warship 700 Unveiled: A Rugged, 1,128 HP Boxy SUV Challenger

The front profile of the Galaxy Warship 700 is bold and substantial, characterized by a flat, muscular hood. The front fascia moves away from traditional aggressive grilles, opting for a sleek, rectangular horizontal layout that aligns with its new-energy identity. A full-width LED daytime running light bar spans the front, featuring an illuminated Galaxy logo at the center for high brand recognition. The headlight clusters are uniquely designed with curved internal DRL elements.

The side profile is the defining element of its rugged aesthetic. The standard boxy structure is accentuated by straight, clean lines that convey a sense of stability and strength. Pronounced, flared wheel arches and muscular body lines, paired with large off-road wheels, emphasize its capability. Notably, the vehicle retains traditional mechanical door handles rather than flush-mounted ones, prioritizing durability and ease of use in outdoor environments. The roof features a matte black integrated luggage rack for expanded utility, while a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor highlights its advanced intelligent driving hardware. A floating roof effect is achieved through blacked-out B and C pillars, complemented by privacy glass.

The rear design is clean and functional, with a tapered upper section and a wider base to lower the visual center of gravity. Vertical, rounded-rectangular taillights provide a distinct signature at night. The vehicle features a side-hinged tailgate with an external spare tire carrier, a nod to classic off-road design. The rear bumper is thick and prominent, equipped with a large protective skid plate.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Warship 700 is powered by a tri-motor four-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid system, complete with a differential lock. The powertrain delivers a combined output of 830 kW (1,128.8 hp), achieving a power-to-weight ratio of 392 hp/ton. The vehicle is equipped with Geely’s proprietary GVMC dynamic control system, enabling it to pass the moose test at 80 km/h. Furthermore, it features an AI-powered intelligent 4WD system that automatically switches between FWD, RWD, and 4WD modes. Advanced capabilities include a “crab walk” mode, zero-turn capability, emergency tire-burst driving, and automatic obstacle avoidance. It boasts a wading depth of 800mm and includes satellite communication features. We will continue to monitor this vehicle for further updates.
