Geely Announces Four-Model Lineup for Paris Motor Show, Led by Monjaro EM-i PHEV

Geely is set to make a significant impact at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, which kicks off on October 12. The Chinese automaker has confirmed a four-vehicle lineup for the event, headlined by the international debut of the Monjaro EM-i (known as the Xingyue L PHEV in China).

Joining the Monjaro EM-i on the global stage are the Geely E2 (Geely Xingyuan), the Geely E5 (Galaxy E5), and the Geely Starray EM-i (Galaxy Starship 7).

The Monjaro EM-i is positioned as a global model built on the advanced GEA Evo platform. It features Geelyโ€™s latest Thor EM-i super hybrid system, which pairs a 1.5TD engine with an electric motor. The powertrain delivers a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.83 seconds and boasts a fuel consumption rate of 5.4L/100km under charge-depleted conditions. To enhance driving dynamics, the vehicle is equipped with a Continuous Damping Control (CCD) system and an e-AWD electric all-wheel-drive system.

Visually, the international version remains largely faithful to the domestic Xingyue L, with the primary distinction being the addition of a charging port on the rear left fender. The SUV maintains its substantial footprint, measuring approximately 4.8 meters in length with a 2,845mm wheelbase.

Inside, the cabin features a clean, modern layout. Notably, the passenger-side display has been omitted, and the vehicle adopts a column-mounted shifter and a crystal-style control knob. The dashboard is anchored by a floating central infotainment screen. Key equipment highlights include a Head-Up Display (HUD), the Flyme Sound audio system, six airbags, and a 540-degree panoramic imaging system.

We will continue to monitor the Paris Motor Show for further updates on these models.
