Xpeng Unveils MONA L03: A Stylish Compact SUV with Dual Powertrain Options

In terms of design, the Xpeng MONA L03 continues the signature design language of the MONA series. The vehicle features smooth, rounded lines and a distinct coupe-like silhouette, giving it a sporty and modern aesthetic. The dimensions of the SUV are 4,650mm in length, 1,920mm in width, and 1,600mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850mm.

The side profile is sleek and elongated, highlighted by semi-hidden door handles, dual five-spoke wheels, and colored brake calipers that emphasize its performance-oriented character. The rear design echoes the front, featuring a full-width “streaming” taillight assembly and integrated air ducts on both sides to further enhance the car’s dynamic stance.

Under the hood, the MONA L03 will offer both extended-range (EREV) and pure electric (BEV) powertrains. The EREV version utilizes a 1.5L engine as a range extender, with a maximum power output of 70kW, paired with a 183kW drive motor. It offers various WLTC pure electric range configurations, including 257km, 241km, and 249km.

The pure electric (BEV) powertrains version features a 183kW drive motor and is equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs from CALB, available in 56kWh and 69kWh capacities. Depending on the configuration, the CLTC-rated range varies across several options: 505km, 525km, 530km, 550km, 605km, 625km, 630km, and 650km.
