NIO ES7 will be released on June 15: Based on NT2.0, positioned as a mid-size 5-seat SUV

NIO will hold an online press conference on the evening of June 15 to release a new SUV, the ES7. At the same time, NIO is expected to release the 2022 ES6 / EC6 / ES8 online, as well as the smart cockpit hardware upgrade plan for the old models, such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, smart gateway, high-definition camera, 5G module, etc.


NIO ES7 has been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it is built based on the NT2.0 technology platform. It is positioned as a mid-size 5-seat SUV. The level of vehicle intelligence is the same as that of the ET5 and ET7. It will be delivered within this year.

NIO ES7 still continues the design concept of “Design for AD”. It adopts a combination of lidar and watchtower camera on the roof. It is reported that it will be equipped with NT2.0 automatic driving hardware, 7.1.4 immersive sound system, air suspension, electric suction door and seat massage as standard.

The length, width and height of the new car are 4912/1987/1720mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2960mm.

In addition, we can see from the data of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that NIO ES7 will provide five battery range versions of 440/485/575/620/450km, equipped with 100/70/75 kWh batteries.

In terms of styling, the NIO ES7 adopts the latest family-style X-Bar design language, with the angular ridges on the hood and the SHARK NOSE front face shape, which looks very unique.

In terms of performance, NIO ES7 adopts a front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive layout. The maximum power of the motor is 180kW in the front / 300kW in the rear, the comprehenive power is 480kW, and the total torque is 850N m. In general, it is basically the same as the NIO ET7. Previously, some Chinese media tested that the 0-100km/h acceleration reaches 3.52s.

In addition, the NIO ES7 is expected to offer either a 75kWh ternary iron-lithium battery and a 100kWh ternary lithium battery, the battery range will reach 530 kilometers and 675 kilometers in CLTC conditions, respectively.
