The price of the 2020 NIO ES8 is slightly higher than that of the previous model, but the NEDC cruising range of all models has also been significantly improved. At the same time, a new model equipped with a 100kWh battery pack has also been added. Among them, the benchmark version of the six-seater model is priced at 476,000-544,000 yuan before subsidies, and the seven-seater model is priced at 468,000-526,000 yuan before subsidies; the signature version of the ES8 six-seater model is priced at 566,000-624,000 yuan before seven subsidies.
The 2020 ES8 models equipped with 70kWh battery packs can provide 415km of NEDC range, and the 84kWh battery pack models provide 485km of NEDC range, while the two 2018 ES8 models have NEDC range of only 355km and 425km. In addition, the model with 100kWh battery pack has a NEDC range of 580km. The new model can be said to make up for the shortcomings of the old model.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 160kW permanent magnet synchronous front motor and a 240kW induction asynchronous rear motor. The maximum power is 544 horsepower and the peak torque is 725 Nm. The official claims that its 0-100km / h acceleration time is 4.9s.
