HYCAN AUTO has listed its new electric vehicle named HYCAN Z03. The brand has unveiled four models of the new car with a price range of 132,800 Yuan to 168,800 Yuan. The new car is positioned as a pure electric compact SUV. It is the second vehicle from the brand HYCAN AUTO. The brand’s target consumer group is young people. In addition, the brand also officially announced that a custom version of the HYCAN Z03 EDG that pairs with a 100kWh battery and a range of 800km will be unveiled in 2022. However, the brand has not indicated whether it is an NEDC endurance rating or not.
HYCAN Z03!
In terms of appearance, the new HYCAN Z03 adopts a closed front face that most electric vehicles currently use. The long and narrow headlights are integrated with the ring light belt to create a very sharp “eye” on the front. The internal light set has added a light strip similar to the “7” shape for the lights. It is also an element used in the HYCAN 007 model. The same was the first mass-produced car of the HYCAN AUTO. To the lower part of the front, i.e. the bumper area, there are vertical strips of LED lights and fog lights are added on the left and right. There are also the silver trims similar to the “fangs” below, and the visual effect is outstanding.
The brand has used hidden door handles that can be seen on the sides of the body. The rough wheel eyebrow shape adds a bit of toughness to the vehicle. The rim shape adopts the design style of “Blade Warrior”, which is unique. The car’s length, width, and height are 4602 x 1900 x1645mm, respectively, and it has an amble wheelbase of 2750mm.
The rear shape of the car also has a certain sense of avant-garde technology. In addition, the concave line design matches the style of the whole vehicle. The taillight group adopts a through-type design. It also gets a large lower bumper which widens the visual experience of the tail.
Interior Design!
In terms of interior, the new car adopts a technologically sense interior design. The three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and two floating screens integrate most of the functions in the vehicle. It also creates a simple design style. The new car has a 10.25-inch instrument panel and 14.6-inch central control large screen. Both screens are still quite technological at the same level.
In addition, the car also has an intelligent voice control system and HYCAN PILOT 2.0 intelligent driving assistance system. These can realize the functions of ACC, traffic light reminder, vehicle start reminder, lane centring, and optional dimmable panoramic canopy and remote parking cars, transparent car bottoms, etc.
Engine Details!
In terms of power, the vehicle is available in different configurations. The HYCAN Z03 Chaowan Edition and Chaozhi Edition are equipped with a motor that can produce a maximum power output of 135kW. It also has a peak torque of 225 Nm. At the same time, the high-performance version (Zhao version) has a motor with a maximum power of 160kW. The same has a peak torque of 225 Nm. In terms of battery endurance, the endurance varies on the model which you choose. The new car pairs with battery packs of 64.6kWh and 76.8kWh. The official NEDC cruising range of the vehicle is 500KM and 600KM.
