At the 2019 Chengdu Motor Show, Kia brought its new-gen KIA KX3 (code SP2c), the new car is right the Kia Seltos China version, its exterior shape continues the Seltos’s overall design and will be available for sale in the fourth quarter of this year (or December) in China.
In the appearance part, the all-new Kia KX3 is basically the same as the Kia Seltos, which highly restores the design style of the Kia SP concept car and looks very fashionable. The front of the new car is rich in layers, the slender and sharp split headlights are connected to the front grille, using LED light source.
The side of all-new Kia KX3 has a simple side profile, there is no complicated design, the new car has a width and height of 4345/1800/1645 (1650) mm and wheelbase of 2630 mm, which is a small SUV. At the rear part, the new model has a clear level, the chrome trim strips are used to connect the taillights on both sides, which is also the current popular design. In addition, the high trim model will be equipped with 17-inch double five-spoke rim.
In terms of interiors, the all-new Kia KX3 has a younger layout and overall excellent details, and the color matching is also in line with the aesthetics of young consumers at this stage. The central control area uses a 10.25-inch multimedia screen. In addition to regular entertainment functions, it also supports mobile phone mapping such as CarPlay and car networking services.
In terms of power, the all-new Kia KX3 is equipped with the G4FL 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, the maximum power is 115 hp.
