We learned from Chinese media that Dongfeng FENGON’s all new model FENGON(Fengguang) Landian E5 (Chinese says “风光蓝电E5)”, a medium-sized SUV, may be launched on March 1. It is reported that the new car will be the first batch of models equipped with HUAWEI Hicar3.0.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a simple design style as a whole. The interior of the large-size front grille is supplemented by dot matrix elements, and it is highly recognizable with the skyline LED light strip. At the same time, the car logo above the grille of the car presents the “E” LOGO through the artistic arrangement of nine dots, which enhances the sense of vehicle design. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4760/1865/1710mm respectively, the wheelbase is 2785mm, and it adopts a 2+3+2 seat layout.
In terms of interior, the new car adopts a color scheme with a deep top and a light bottom, with many details of chrome-plated elements, the overall look is very classy. At the same time, the car is also equipped with a double-spoke multifunctional steering wheel and an integrated screen consisting of a full LCD instrument + a large-size central control screen, which has a strong sense of technology. In addition, the new car will be equipped with HUAWEI HiCar 3.0, 12 speakers, intelligent air purification function, etc.
In terms of power, the new car adopts the DE-i super electric drive intelligent platform of SERES, which is suitable for multiple scenarios and modes such as pure electric, extended range, and hybrid. In terms of specific parameters, FENGON Landian E5 is equipped with a 1.5L high-efficiency plug-in hybrid engine produced by FinDreams Powertrain and a DHT300 electric hybrid system. It has an ultra-high compression ratio of 15.5:1, a maximum thermal efficiency of 43.04%, and a maximum transmission efficiency of 97.5%. At the same time, according to the official disclosure, the car has a comprehensive battery life of 1150km.
