On July 15th, Changan New Energy CS55 pure electric version was officially launched. The new car is positioned as a pure electric compact SUV. A total of 5 models are launched. The price range is 159,200-20,900 yuan after subsidy. The new car is highly comparable to Changan CS55 PLUS in appearance, maximum power of the E-motor is 160kW (218PS), it has two battery capacities, corresponding to the NEDC cruising range of 605km and 403km.
In terms of appearance, the Changan CS55 EV is based on the design language of Changan CS55 PLUS. The appearance of the two cars is highly similar, and the overall shape is tough. In some details of the design, the Changan CS55 EV will highlight the design features of new energy models, such as the use of a closed front grille and the addition of blue trim elements in the fender and other locations.
The shape of the side of the body is relatively tough, showing a tough SUV. The rim shape is relatively sharp, the tires are all of the same size, it is 225/55 R18. Due to the elimination of the exhaust pipe design, the shape of the rear enclosure of the car is more integrated. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4515mm, 1860mm and 1690mm, and the wheelbase is 2650mm.
